AN EMBER PRODUCTION IN ASSOCIATION WITH RAY PRODUCTIONS
CURRENTLY SHOOTING AS FEATURE FILM
After a cataclysmic solar flair caused the apocalypse, the world reverted back to pre- electonic technology, life without cities or countries, and the sole focus of survival. N.E.S.T. follows two groups: the ‘Rebels’ seek to attack a nearby compound to destabilise the ruthless ruling power there, and collect supplies. At the compound, N.E.S.T., the aforementioned rulers, torture a rebel to discover the rebel plans, research to learn how to control violent mutants, and cope with the fallout of the oncoming attack.
NEST is a proof of concept for the feature film. Showcasing every talented artist working on the film. In the Short Film, we follow the characters as they battle between power, morals
and survival, in a post-apologetic world where mutants roam and various factions of humanity. This will all be showed within the Short Film.

A SHORT FILM BY BRIANA DOUGLAS
A guarded young woman reluctantly reunites with her estranged father on the way to a family gathering. An unexpected detour rekindles old memories and unresolved wounds. She must confront the weight of their fractured bond - before time runs out for good.
It’s About Time is a drama with elements of family reconciliation, time, regret, and nostalgia. The script deeply explores strained parent-child relationships, particularly the wounds left by an absent father and the dif-ficulty of reconnecting. The title itself plays on both literal and metaphorical meanings of time—missed moments, second chances, and the inescapable passage of life. The script follows a circular narrative, bringing the audience back to the beginning in a way that forces re-evaluation of events. The pacing is deliberate and naturalistic, mirroring the ebb and flow of real-life reunions—filled with awkwardness, humor, and unspoken emotions. The key structural choice is the reveal of the father’s death, which reframes everything that came before it, adding emotional weight and tragic irony. The audience realizes that this day was their last chance to make amends, making V’s decision to walk away even more heartbreaking.
